Headed by Sir Don with our Bicol Team, solar lights have reached Ponong Magarao in Camarines Sur.

Headed by Sir Don with our Bicol Team, solar lights have reached Ponong Magarao in Camarines Sur. For many off-grid communities, clean and affordable light is difficult to get by. Families without access to electricity resort to using dangerous and expensive kerosene lamps, that according to the World Bank, when used, is like smoking two packs of cigarettes a day.

Through the Light Project together with our friends from Kids for Kids and One Million Lights, we aim to bring solar lights to various communities all over the Philippines. One solar light can last a family up to 5 years-- that's 5 years of savings that can now be used for food, medicine, housing, and livelihood.

With your help, we've been able to distribute more than 1,500 solar lights all around the country! Thank you so much.
